Tohu Wa Bohu, Briston Mystery Play

Last night, Tohu Wa Bohu Mystery Play Premiere at All Saints Church, Briston, North Norfolk, had a captivated audience.

The performance was outstanding.

A must-see entertaining show for only two more nights on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th June 2019. Tickets at the door.

Losing people in Norwich Cathedral February2019

It was good to welcome ten members of the North Norfolk Photographic Society to Norwich Cathedral on Tuesday 12th February. After a hastily drunk cup of coffee in the refectory the ladies and gentlemen spread throughout the building with their cameras and tripods. It is a very large cathedral and my aim was to circulate and see if everyone was all right. Finding them became the major problem. The tucked themselves away in the farthest corners and then concentrated on the task in hand.

There were very few murmurs about “people getting in the way of the shot” tons of room. One person tried for a very long time to take a photograph of the font without actually being in the picture (think reflections) Another was found lying on his stomach in the cloisters trying to frame the cathedral spire…

Secret Places October 2018

autumn woods--3Having got terribly lost last time I ventured to Bacton Wood, I was glad that on this visit we were escorted to the places where good photographs can be taken by Sarah Toon, a local photographer. She looked after us and made sure we didn’t get lost among all those trees. Sarah has a distinct advantage over most of us though because she lives close by, visits the wood regularly and has taken award winning pictures there.


So from the start it was obvious we were in for a treat. Just to make sure though the sun came out and suddenly the whole place came to life. Green, orange, ochre and brown all mingled together providing a magnificent spectacle.
